Computing History, from The Caves to COBOL

Neatorama has a nice article on the early History of computing, from Pre-history all the way up to COBOL (which some might argue is still Pre-history ^_~). While by no means complete, it makes for an interesting reading, and you might even learn a couple things – I never knew we had mechanical calculators as far back as the 15th Century.
